I have always hated going out for New Years. Not really sure why. Probably because it’s cold, over-rated, and not really worth the hassle. Don’t get me wrong I love going out, buying a new outfit etc, but with all the people who are also partying on this holiday, I would much rather just stay home with my loves. This year we decided to switch it up a bit and go up north to snowboard. Let me just say we were wore out by the end of the night, mix that with champagne and a hot tub, we barely made it to midnight! Man that made me feel old.

It’s already 2012. Wow! and let me just say if this year is really the last year ever, oh man am I going to be pissed. There is still so much stuff that I want to do! But I am going to say I am super proud of myself for getting such a great jump on my 2012. We’ve already been snowboarding and I have been on a great track with working out everyday. I also signed up for a class to get onto finishing my degree. I love this path I have started on for 2012. I definitely feel good about what I am doing and am finding that I have so much time, so much time to get stuff done! It’s the beginning of a new year, photo shoots are getting booked, meeting new families and brides for the upcoming year is exciting! Hope your year is starting out just as great!

So probably about two years ago now, Jake was working on the ASU m.u. building for his job. It caught on fire and his company was re-building it. There was a beach cruiser parked outside the building, locked to a bike rack. It was sorta buried in the mud and had been sitting there for months, during the summer I might add. So he talked to the maintenance men, they gave him the ok to cut the lock and take it home, to me! I was totally stoked to redo it and take bike rides. Well I went right to work, took it completely apart. Now two years later I’m gettin back on my crafty train and we are sprucing her up!

I freakin’ love my jobs. period. I love being a photographer, and I love working for TinyPrints. This past weekend TinyPrints had their annual company picnic. Since the merger with Shutterfly back in March, we have done a few things together with them. Although we still have our separate offices, one of our new things to do together is our company picnic. Another thing…it was HOTT! I mean of course, it is August, why wouldn’t it be. Maybe next year it will be in October instead!

5! lol if you know us at all, or have been to our house, you know we have lots of cars. It really doesn’t bother me because all while growing up, my dad restored cars. We always had at least two in the garage and then probably at least two out back. So, at our house now we have five. Yes…FIVE! why in the world would two people need five cars? Not really sure. All that really matters to me is that I finally get to park in the garage! YES!! after only three years of being in our house, I am finally a garage parker. It is sad though because we did get rid of the Falcon. Last year for Christmas, I had my dad do a lot of work on the Falcon to try to get it running for Jake for his gift. I had cherry bomb exhaust put on and everything. He LOVED that car. I know it was really tough for him to sell it, but it was time. The Falcon had so many issues, although bad ass in all reality, it wasn’t something we needed to be pouring our money into. So, when Jake’s air went out on his work van recently we knew it was time to make some changes. So, out went the Ford Falcon and in came the Ford F150. Jake bought his first truck this past weekend and it is really nice! I know it was tough to sell the wagon, but I know he loves this truck just as much. A camping trip is near in our future!!

I have started this list, paused it, came back to it, started it over again probably about 200 times it feels like. My list, life, dreams, abilities, goals, have changed so much since the first time I have sat and started writing this list. Here I am again starting a list. Maybe I am to young to have a list. I am 23 and when this list is done I will be 25. Do you know how much ones life can change in just two years? By then I know I will be paying cheaper car insurance, but other than that, I know nothing more of that time. I have no clue where I will be, or who I will be for that fact. But, I am starting this list, going to finish it, and be goal oriented

1. Register my business
2. Improve product packaging
3. Get a Macbook (completed on May 27th 2011)
4. Buy a newer camera
5. Do a photo shoot in Sedona, AZ
6. Vacuum the couches once a week
7. Invest in a studio
8. Order a copy of clients wedding books for myself
